“Tariqa Burhaniya” is also a Silsila which originates from last one of the four Poles of Tassawuf, Sayyidi Ibrahim Al-Qurashi El-Desuqi (1255-1296) and His Maternal uncle Sayyidi Abu Al-Hassan As-Shadzuli (1196-1258). Tariqa Burhaniya was then passed on to Sudanese Sheikh, Sayyidi Al-Shaikh Mohamed Osman Abdu al Burhani (1902–1983) who was followed by His son Sayyidi As-Shaikh Ibrahim As-Shaikh Mohamad Osman (1936-2003) and then to the current Spiritual Shaikh which is Sayyidi As-Shaikh Mohamed As-Shaikh Ibrahim As-Shaikh Mohamed Osman. A tariqa is a school or order of Sufism

Every Tariqa have their own way of spiritual practices and all of them are connected to a certain lineage like (Chishtiya, Qadriya, Naqshbandiya, Burhaniya etc)

If you are going to gym there as an instructor who guides you Similarly in the spiritual path to ALLAH ‘’ Sufism or Tassawuf‘’ one requires a spiritual Mentor those teachers or guider who show us path to wards Allah A tariqa has a murshid (guide) who plays the role of leader or spiritual director. The members or followers of a tariqa are known as muridin

يَوْمَ نَدْعُو كُلَّ أُنَاسٍ بِإِمَامِهِمْ فَمَنْ أُوتِيَ كِتَابَهُ بِيَمِينِهِ فَأُولَئِكَ يَقْرَءُونَ كِتَابَهُمْ وَلَا يُظْلَمُونَ فَتِيلًا وَمَنْ كَانَ فِي هَذِهِ أَعْمَى فَهُوَ فِي الْآخِرَةِ أَعْمَى وَأَضَلُّ سَبِيلًا
(الإسرا 17:71)

[Mention, O Muhammad], the Day We will call forth every people with their record [of deeds]. Then whoever is given his record in his right hand - those will read their records, and injustice will not be done to them, [even] as much as a thread [inside the date seed].

Dhikr is the remembrance of Allah commanded in the Qur'an for all Muslims through a specific devotional act, such as the repetition of divine names and supplications

ومَا أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ إِلَّا رِجَالًا نُّوحِي إِلَيْهِمْ ۚ فَاسْأَلُوا أَهْلَ الذِّكْرِ إِن كُنتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ
(ٱلنَّحْل 16:43)

And We sent not before you except men to whom We revealed [Our message]. So ask the people of the message if you do not know.
